Does North Korea have the same culture as South Korea?

I know that they have different regimes: South Korea is a democracy while North Korea is a communist dictatorship. I know that a lot of the North Korean culture centers around Kim-Jong Il but except from that........ what kind of culture do North Koreans have? Do they have anything culturally in common with south Korea like music, history, dance etc? Do the North Koreans and South Koreans eat the same? Is there Kimchi in North Korea? And...... do they have hanboks in North Korea?
