Braces for crowded teeth is it painfull?

ive got no space between any of my teeth and two of my teeth (the two small incisors on top) are behind another teeth(the two big incisors on top) is it possible to have braces without extraction of teeth. and plus my bottom gums are alright except i see abit of my bottom incisor bones help??????
