How to console my friend who is crying over a girl since his love is not reciprocated?

This girl in our university is really beautiful and has an amazing personality.Most of the guys had huge crush on her including me and my friend is one among those but he went a bit further.He approached her and she replied she cant commit any where in the near future and this has really saddened him.He has been crying thinking about this and saying he would never come across a girl like this.How should i console him?
