Laptop won't start!!?

Alright, so I just got home from work today and opened my laptop, only to find the screen off and all 3 lights on (caps lock, num, and scroll). when I restarted it, the hard drive kicks on and starts spinning, as does the fan. But then it just sits there. I've been googling around and so far, it sounds like it might be the BIOS got fried somehow. Any suggestions??
