OMG!!! How sad is this?

I live in Kentucky and if you have seen the news we had a horrible Ice storm this week and most of our town is without electricity. We however are among the few who have electricity. So any way my 14 daughter was talking to one of her friends on the phone who doesn't have power (thank god for cell phones) and she came out of her room in tears and handed me the phone. On the other end her friends mother was crying and said" I hate asking you this but if you all have any pizza left( we had just ordered a pizza) could Jess(my daughter) walk over here with a piece for jennifer. We haven't had power since Tuesday and everything in the fridge is ruined and she hasn't eaten in a couple day's. Seems they can't get out of their driveway because of a tree and the Father is out of work and they are out of money. I sent over half the pizza. Do you think it would hurt their pride to much if I made them a dinner? The mother seemed so embarred.
