First snowboard setup help?

i would like to learn snowboarding, all my friends say it's so much fun and i used to have a cheap little plastic snowboard and it was a lot of fun. i have skiied before and i skateboard and i am looking for decent yet cheap bindings, boots and a board for my first setup. i am thinking burton freestyle bindings but i have no idea what to chose for the board and boots. i would like the entire setup to be under $350 dollars or so, not too expensive, i am just learning and having fun at my friends hill. i am 5"3', weigh 105 pounds and i'm a guy. my shoe size is about a 7 and a half, but i dont know what size boots to get, so that would help also. and please no answers just saying you should rent the first year or anything like that, i'm getting money for christmas and i would like to get into this i already know to a degree that i like it and i'm ready for a challenge. thanks!

I'm moving into my GF's condo and she has a light switch which does not appear to control anything. I have tested all the outlets with a 3 prong outlet tester and all appear in good working order and do not change when turning on/off the switch. I have tested that the switch and it is hot and receiving current. My next step is to remove the switch and test continuity capacity (i.e. if it is actually turning on and off) once I have found the circuit breaker.......what does this switch control? FYI the building is 6 years old in downtown Chicago and she is the 3 owner. Maybe a overhead "outlet" that has been dry walled over?

I have several plants in my kitchen. Most are doing poorly while the rest are doing fair. My kitchen has south and west facing windows and I supplement them with several plant-style floriscent blubs....running 16 hours....as well. I have two humidifiers running to keep the kitchen at 65% humidity because the furnace is constantly running. I live in the upper midwest and it's winter here now. I also have a gas stove. Tonight I woke up because my throat was burning like crazy! It was like everytime I swallowed something was bubbling up in my throat and making it burn. Tips for cleaning my Coach handbags?

I have two Coach signature handbags, a white one and a pink one. Since they are such light colors, it has been very hard to keep them clean. I was just in the Coach store today and they recommended their Signature Cleaner which is specifically for the signature bags, not leather or suede. I tried it on both bags when I got home, following the salesman's instructions as well as the instructions on the bottle, and from what I can tell, it has made no difference. we got a kitten about 3/4months ago, about 2months ago we noticed she had fleas, im not sure if shes had them since we got her, or she brought them in. i noticed black "dirt" on her since we had her though, i just thought it was muck. anyway, we used flea powder everywhere, flea tablets, flea spray and flea bombs, they went away for a few days but came back again. we've now put front-line on her but we keep finding fleas on her. 5 saturday, 3sunday and 2monday. we are keeping her in the bathroom at the moment until we have got rid of the fleas, we are giving her water and food and somewhere to sleep. last night we flea powdered the sofa and rug, hoovered them, put flea spray on them as well. we heard vinegar kills them so put a bowl of vinegar on the rug and sofa as well, we caught one in the vinegar. we washed the throw and cushions, and then flea sprayed them. we are going to re-bomb everything on friday. we are hoovering all carpets and wood flooring, spraying them with flea stray, and insect killer, we've put bowls of vinegar through out the house. washing all clothes, using a flea comb on our cat. is there anything else we can do? also can we still use flea powder on the cat if shes got front-line on?

As you know today congress rejected the plan. Leaving only 12 votes need to p it. 70% percent of republicans are against it I believe.(correct me if I'm wrong) My thing is this. Wall street is the heart of this country by making money for this country. Main street make money also but we all know that if wall street didn't exist this world wouldn't be a superpower. We all know what happen in 1929 in the depression. People need to realize that if this plan doesn't go through, they will have more than a tax increase problem. food will go up ,gas, and the housing market will even more drop. Banks will stop lending, jobs will bankrupt, people will be laid off.and probably a year or two from now gas will probably jump 8 dollars.So if your income is steadily the same and everything goes up you will not be able to at least stay above water. I don't get why America is so ******* dumb about the plan. I think it should be accept and p. So what companies are getting out of debt and paid off.I rather have them being paid off and our country being in a recession all because of stupid dumb *** people being stubborn. If banks stop lending then no loans will be given out for any reason. Wall street brings in 86.99 percent of the country income. Why not bail them out. If we go into a depression, we will not be a super power anymore and china will hold that title. Then china will start buying companies on our land and creating a monopoly around the country. I was looking for some IUI success stories while on Clomid days 3-7 and HCG shot? Here is my story.. I did an insemination about 3 years ago, no clomid but did have the shot, and got BFP on the 1st try but lost the pregnancy due to low hormones, as well as a near fatal car accident. Now I in the process again, doing IUI, u/s showed uterine polyps, got them surgically removed on 06.03.2009. I was put on birth control from 07.04.2009-07.25.2009 they excpected me to be at day 3 of my period on 07.29.2009 but it never came. AF did not show her face till 08.10.2009, went for my baseline ultrasound on 08.13.2009 no cyst or anything to be worried about dr says all looks well... Started 100mg of clomid on 08.13.2009 I will be complete with the clomid on 08.17.2009, and then have another dr's appointment on 08.20.2009 (not really to sure what they are looking for at this dr's appointment. if you could help me out with this one I would appreciate it.) and then another appointment on 08.26.2009 where im guessing if whatever they are looking for looks good I will take my HCG shot and then she will do the insemination on 08.28.2009. I am looking for success stories, as well as wondering... why are they waiting so long after I stop the clomid to do the insemination? I have a felony convicting 9 years ago. I was wrongfully accused and took it to trial and lost. I went to prison for 3 years (18-21). Since then I have obtained a ociates degree in business management and am currently getting ready to finish my BA in Information technology. I am worried I am bailing water and I will not land a god job to make a better future for myself and my family. Is there any certain degree I can get that a felony will not really matter? What is the best study guide to use for the PSAT/NMSQT in your opinion and why?

Alright. The best guide by far to use was the official student guide, as the questions on there were geared as close as possible as the ones on the real test. In terms of general study material, use Kaplan or the Princeton Review (I personally used Kaplan), but beware of Kaplan's practice tests - they are by far more difficult and asinine than the actual PSAT tests, and they literally left one question unfinished midsentence, forcing me to figure out the answer from the five solutions given. Don't worry if the math section seems harder - you'll learn much of the stuff on the test this year, given you're in honors cles. Aside from that, focus a fair section on grammar (that will boost your score up the most if you have trouble there - it's by far the easiest and quickest section to learn), and then just work on your reading comprehension and vocabulary. Most guides are the same, but stick to something reputable - feel free to use SAT study guides as well, such as the Official SAT Online Course offered by the CollegeBoard itself, as the similarities between the PSAT and SAT are almost entire. Good luck. Again, save the Official PSAT Student Guide Practice Test for last, after all your studying and practicing, so you can get a feel for what your score will really be on the test, as the other practice guides do a terrible job (I got a 134 on the Official Practice, 12x on the Kaplan Practice taken afterwards). Enjoy your testing.

I adopted a beautiful year old cat at the aspca the other day. I have a vet appointment scheduled for this coming weekend. I am extremely worried though because I feel there is something wrong with her. She walks "silly" with her back legs. Almost as though she has no balance. She is all wobbly. Now keep in mind, she was in a cage for 6 months of her life. Could her muscles be atrophied? I am so worried that it could be hip dysplasia. I am no scientist, but I enjoy watching shows and doentarys about certain scientific things, especially plantets and the solar system. It seems that whenever they are answering some questions, like how did the moon form, why is a planet a certain way, or some such thing, the answer seems to basically be " a rock hit it" Such as a comet, asteroid etc.. I was hypnotized in the audience of a hypnotist show, but I didn't actually do any of the things the hypnotist suggested besides going to sleep and waking up. I don't remember much of the show, but the people I was with said I was like a zombie the whole show. I don't know if I was actually hypnotized or just in a weird trace. I am the type of person who laughs at everything, but apparently I didn't laugh the whole time or make much facial expressions. I remember thinking that what the hypnotist was saying wasn't true so I didn't want to do it. I was wondering if I could have been hypnotized but not acted on the hypnotist's suggestions like the people on stage did.

What can I substitute for my toddler's pacifier at night?

My toddler is 20 months old and still uses a pacifier, especially at night. He does not use it very much during the day, but it is a necessity in the car and at night. Lately he has been losing it at night and wakes up crying for it. I am wanting to get rid of his pacifier, but I need something to use in it's place during the night? Any suggestions? The thing is, most people are like ewww, that dog is ugly!!! I think he is cute though. Is it just me, or what??? He LOVES to play fetch!!! He could probably do that all day!!! We got him from a shelter, and they say he was found on the streets, and he was on the kill-list. He sleeps at the foot of my bed every night!!! Buy a halti i guarantee it will work. It is basically a harness that goes over your dogs face and gives you complete control over his head. Meaning when you pull the leash you can turn his head to redirect his focus and he can no longer pull. I had the same problem with my dog who ruled me on the leash and after using the halti for about 6 months he began to walk beside me without it because he knew what i expected and i had the control. Every once and a while if he decides to act up on the leash again i throw it on him to remind him who is walking who. It works!!

Ladies advice please! strange situation with old friend?

Ok ive known this girl for about 5 years, we always had a strange on and off friendship, i guess we always seemed like an item, atleast thats what ive heard. we got close, but i was away at scho0ol for a time, she had wanted to come to the same school she said but she got back in an old relationship and aftr 2 years i left my school. she droppedher boyfriend..through or friendship we got in lots of fights over stupid things friends shouldnt be fighting over, i made lot off smart *** comments about her choices of friends, and we wouldnt talk for long periods of time. anyway, we got into a big thing i was drunk one night dont remeber saying stupid things to her i was being a real @$$hole....this wasnt the first time so i just said i guess she def doesnt want to be friends so didnt bother contacting her for months. then her ex boyfriend keeps bringing her up and how he hears from her that i like her and says i should go for it..so ater a few months(i know stupid) i wrote a heartfelt email telling her how much i like her, and how i was an , but by that time she started seeing someone else...so months go by, I see her at a party, she has an ear to ear smmile on her face staring at me when i walked in, i felt like she was in y area a lot like she wanted to talk but i thought it wouldnt be a good idea, i should back off if shes in a relationship because I dont want to just be friends again. Crab-apples;What can I eat them with?

Hey! I have 2 or 3 Crap-apple trees in my back yard. I've always eaten crab apples.. well I don't really eat them I bite into them because they're tart and I kinda like that taste. Anyways, they're just staring to bloom or whatever you would call it and there's some crab-apples out there. I wanna eat them but I can't stand eating the whole thing because they're sour and tart. I knew about the barium enemas and stuff, but I didn't realize you would have to ist in patient cleanup here and there. I'm not particularly squeamish around bodily fluids, but I'm just not sure. Repetative dream - rotating house?

The dream is hard to make sense of but you need to decide if you are dreaming about a house or is the house supposed to be your home. It sounds like home. There is symbolism in the cross and in the number 12 of course. 12 is a Biblical number of completeness which your subconscious mind may identify with. 12 months. 12 Apostles. The house is noteworthy because it travels. It is in a beautiful place but can travel and rotate and stop in some precarious situations but it finds its "space" on its own. The dream suggests to me a subconscious knowledge that you are centered and home wherever you land. Perhaps it is your faith that gives this peace (the cross and number 12 suggest it) But the house is a Happy one and the house symbolizes where you are in your life right now. It seems that no matter where this house goes you will be ok. People will venture in and out but the house survives, travels but is centered and grounded in the spot to which it returns. So it seems to me this dream may be saying because you are centered in Christ that your home will always have a central point to which it will always return and though things may seem random or precarious you can have faith that it will return to its true center no matter where home is or where life takes you.

It is not normal and it can be dangerous. Put a large clean rock in the middle of his food bowl so it will be harder for him to get to the food. This will slow down his eating. Or put his kibble in a Kong or something similar so he will have to work at it and just get a few pieces at a time. Hope this helps.

Good post-workout snack for a hypoglycemic??

Hi, I have hypoglycemia and I went to a kickboxing cl tonight and can't seem to get my blood sugar up good enough. I had a well balanced snack before my cl and I ate a salad with a grilled chicken afterwords for dinner. I still feel shaky. I just ate a few cinnamon graham crackers to get some extra sugar into me, but I still just don't feel right and I have a headache. This cl was an intense 1 hour cl. Any ideas for a good post-workout snack that will even out the blood sugar?
